About us
here and now...together!
Proof of Concept
On January 18, 2015, the first concept was developed – inclusion of asylum seekers & migrants through Trust First & Participation. From July onwards, we put it into practice with SprachFreude, a model project in the social sector in Cologne. Inspired and supported by One Day – I Have a Dream …
In 2016, Generation iTrust: being.valuable e. V. was founded in Cologne – with the vision of using existing resources in new ways, exploring hybrid learning environments, and revitalizing the common good. Recognizing diversity as strength, fostering community, and shaping the future together in the here and now.
What began as a response to the challenges of integration work soon evolved into the vision of a Virtual Space for Encounter and Learning (VirBeL pillar), presented at the German Innovation Award for Adult Education 2016, where it made it to the final round. Staying true to this vision, over the years we developed a platform for transformative education, sustainable development, and social participation.
KiezRebellen
Berlin-Pankow 2019-2021
Since 2018, a second chapter has opened:
We contribute to the field of education with the KiezRebellen and the LaborRaum.
Two projects through which we demonstrated how students from welcome classes and school-absent youth can rediscover self-efficacy, connectedness, and confidence – guided by values.

As part of the SprachFreude model project, we also trained BridgeBuilders and CourageMakers.
Since 2021, we have been contributing our socio-ecological approach to the business environment – with a focus on the common good. Here, we see the greatest leverage and the most profound contribution to a shift in consciousness toward a regenerative way of life.
At ESCP Berlin, we developed a serious game on the energy transition together with master’s students and integrated our approach. At the Entrepreneurship Summit, the 4FuturesLab format has become a regular feature.
Next, we are advocating for a Common Good Index (GWI), building on Ronald Colman’s groundbreaking work on the Genuine Progress Index (GPI), which he developed in Canada in the 1990s, later brought to New Zealand and then to Bhutan, where his knowledge contributed wholeheartedly to the Gross National Happiness Index, presented to the world stage at the UN in New York in 2012.
Our roots are oriented toward the common good – social, ecological, and economic: stewarding what has been given to us in order to pass it on more valuably to future generations. We are connected through systems thinking, a participatory culture of innovation, and educational transformation with diverse actors of urban society and innovators.
Today, we work at the intersection of civil society, education, politics, and business – with the goal of creating spaces where trust can grow and change becomes tangible – together, responsibly, and reliably.
